I think Phoebe and Alex were ahead of the times when they reached out to us in late 2019 for their intimate, backyard wedding for 20 guests. At our first meeting, Phoebe and Alex invited us to their beautiful 70’s contemporary home where we were greeted by their sweet chocolate lab, Cooper. They had a vision to completely renovate […]
When creating Angeline and Jose’s mood board, a major design goal was to to curate a clean, modern aesthetic that tied in some boho touches and created a relaxed, laid back experience for their guests. For their color palette, we pulled a few different shades of ivory and tan, complimented by a rich terracotta hue and a couple muted warm pink shades to play off the peachy walls of Moniker Cocktail Co. We also added in a deep hunter green to contrast the warm, neutral tones.
Angeline and Jose were the perfect combo—sweet as pie yet always keeping you on your toes with quick wit and the best one liners. When Angeline reached out to us a couple months before they wanted to host their micro-wedding on their original wedding date, we knew we were up for the challenge!
We were so excited when Jill reached out to us for assistance designing and planning her wedding at Whispering Rose Ranch. The venue is one of the most beautiful spaces we’ve had the opportunity to work at and because of her background as a wedding photographer, we knew she’d value all the small details the same way we do!
Jill is a wedding photographer who chose a beautiful ranch in Solvang to have her intimate wedding. We were so honored when she reached out to us and had such a fun experience planning with someone who was familiar with the process and valued design as much as we did! Her vision for her day was stunning—she desired an overall warm, romantic and elegant ambiance for their wedding. In order to bring this vision to life, we made lighting a big focal point of our design. Candles and hanging bulbs displayed above dining tables created a soft and inviting feel in the reception space. Their color palette focused on subdued, warm tones like rust, mustard and muted pinks. We contrasted these understated hues with vibrant pops of color in their floral selections as well as gold accents and subtle additions of black in the dining space.
If you read our last blog post, you know that planning Jessica’s wedding was a whirlwind! It felt as though the moment we solidified her venue and design plans, she was forced to cut her guest count down, find a new space to get married, and adapt her design to fit a completely different venue. […]
This is our wedding!!! (Jess here) Man oh man did it look so incredibly differently than what we had envisioned, but I loved every moment of our day and while it is not the story I would have written for us, I’m so thankful it is ours. We had our date set for July 18th, […]
It is always such an honor when two incredible designers choose us to help design one of the most important days of their lives. These two are intelligent, witty, willing to think out of the box, and just overall lovely people with a relationship that is truly special.
Carlie + Dillon’s wedding day + planning process is one we will never forget. They both had such a fun and dynamic energy about them. They valued us and their other vendors so well, had impeccable taste, and a keen sense of personal style. We loved working to understand them better as a couple and aligning ourselves with Carlie’s vision.
One of the things that stands out to me about Briana and Luke were their thoughtfulness and intentionality in accommodating what they desired in their wedding as a couple. They took the time to understand and execute what it takes to provide an amazing guest experience throughout every element and have a truly meaningful ceremony.
