Spanish Hills Editorial

The Spanish Hills Country Club recently underwent renovations and when we toured the space, we were instantly inspired to create a design concept for the new modern ballroom. Some of our favorite features are the black frame arched windows, smooth white walls, light oak floors, and the beautiful tiling updates. Not only does Spanish Hills have a beautiful indoor space, but the expansive grassy outdoor areas are also the perfect place to host your ceremony and cocktail hour, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Natalie Bray Photography and Sammie, of SJ Videography, expertly captured Spanish Hills and the modern, luxe design concept we curated for the space. Floratique helped bring our vision to life by creating a unique hanging installation using dried hydrangeas. She suspended florals in front of Spanish Hill’s sleek black dividing wall, making the florals pop and appear to be floating in mid-air. Our bride held a delicate bouquet to compliment her sleek gown and understated styling. Beauty Bespoken completed her look with a fresh face and modern, twisted updo. For the escort display, we collaborated with Fawn Lettering and My Lovely Events to create a large-scale backdrop featuring stone-like textures and stemless ribbed champagne flutes adorned with neutral circular escort tags. We placed our dining space near a cozy fireplace in the ballroom, centered under one of the modern gold light fixtures. We used Party Pleasers natural bentwoods around a table draped in La Tavola’s luxe velvet linen. Floratique also used dried hydrangeas for the centerpiece installation, adding volume and dimensions to the tablescape. Each place setting featured Catalog Atelier’s Capri dinnerware, linen napkins, ribbed and gold rim glassware, and unique bronze flatware with enamel handles. We’re so grateful to Spanish Hills for providing a beautiful space to shoot and to the incredibly talented vendor team who partnered with us and helped make our vision a reality!
