Tess + Adrian | Maderas Golf Club

Tess and Adrian are clearly as cute as they come and their wedding was one that despite covid changes, turned out to be such a special and incredibly beautiful day. Their original plans of having their reception in the Maderas ballroom turned into a glow up when we adjusted plans to move the dining tables outside with their rescheduled date.  Working with Tess was a true dream, she is beyond organized (which we can always appreciate) and trusted us with the design extras that ended up making all the difference–cue lanterns, runners, and some added floral touches. It was so special to see their vision finally come to life and get to witness the love and support all around them as they were finally able celebrate!

We created a romantic, garden-style aesthetic, tying in subtle accents of the groom’s Mexican heritage and placing a heavy emphasis on florals for Tess and Adrian’s wedding design. Their color palette focused primarily on cream, ivory, and warm neutrals, anchored with soft peach tones and a muted terracotta shade. Guests were greeted at cocktail hour by a floral installation, sprouting from the fountain at the entrance of Maderas. The cocktail space was decked with hanging papel picado banners, a mariachi band, and an escort display consisting of handmade terra cotta shot glasses– Tess and Adrian know how to get a party started! In the reception space, woven pendants hung above the dining tables and Blue Pansy Floral created a whimsical overhead greenery installation, further enhancing the garden feel. We paired modern, white bentwoods with elevated rustic tables topped with table runners that mimicked the papel picado. In the tablescape we infused pops of color through floral arrangements as well as peach linen napkins, honey colored dinnerware, and gold accents.
