When our good friends Dear Lovers Photography asked us to collaborate on a design concept in Morro Bay we were instantly inspired! The coastal setting surrounded by rolling sand dunes, natural grasses, and the iconic Morro Rock were the perfect space to create an intimate ceremony and dining space, nestled into the natural landscape. Ophelia Floral Co-created the most incredible winding rose aisle that seamlessly blended into the dunes and pre-existing foliage. She also designed a classically elegant white and green bouquet for our bride as well as a lush and textural centerpiece composed of varying white blooms and wispy grasses to complete our tablescape. A mix of modern and vintage-inspired tableware rentals from Catalog Atelier were beautifully complimented by Michelle Renee Calligraphy’s hand-lettered tabletop paper goods containing rounded edges and textile accents. We love the way this design concept allowed us to get creative and develop a modern and elevated take on coastal wedding design!
